50th Birthday leaving party
You're 50 today Barry, we've a poem for you
You're our belly dancing colleague - table football king too
Half marathon runner, even egg and spoon race
Tai Chi, Tug of war, always a smile on your face
You always stay positive and forever on a high
Even when as a lad you were blinded in one eye
We hope you like teasing - we have a story to tell
You were in the middle of a match, looking good, looking swell!
The game was then halted and then you got the blame
For your eye had popped out in the middle of the game!
The players dumbfounded, the match was a farce
For they were searching for your eye, on all fours, in the grass!

We met whilst at school, and we've never looked back
Partying and clubbing, always having a crack
Our naf nightclub we loved, being too drunk to think,
and I still say today THAT I BOUGHT THAT LAST DRINK!
Every friday and saturday, we just lived in that place,
Nicking drinks off the table, oh what a disgrace,
how classy we were, always back there for more,
At the end - always snogging, yes - on the dance floor!
Now to the present, you are 30 years old
You are no spring chicken or so I am told,
That's a load of old rubbish, for one thing is true,
A fab, lovely friend, that's you through and through
Partying and clubbing, always having a crack
Our naf nightclub we loved, being too drunk to think,
and I still say today THAT I BOUGHT THAT LAST DRINK!

Chicken fillets in Bras - and her gin fuelled benders
Sexiest mum ever, satin straights and suspenders
When your dad was alive he took no notice of her
Even if she'd hung from the ceiling draped in fake fur
To get his attention she had a quite cunning plan
For this was sure to up his attention span
She cooked a fab dinner and served him the food
But your Dad didn't notice she was totally nude!
Jain it's so sad but what a fabulous life!
A mother, a stunner, and was a fabulous wife
Now the time is here - I want you to know
She will always in my eyes, be stealing the show
Your mum was amazing and Jain you are too
